Core Design: The symmetric core’s RG is medium at 2.58. The Diff comes in at .046, which produced an average 5” of track flare. The overall design picks up its revs in the midlane and beyond.

Coverstock: Banger chose to finish this cover with a wet sanded 1000-grit. They named it Isogonic solid and it is colored in a matte blue and black mix. For the curious, Isogonic means: an imaginary line connecting points on the Earth's surface where the magnetic declination is the same. This solid reactive cover is rated as moderate in its responsiveness off friction.

Manufacturer's Intent: The Hole Finder series was created to provide more backend when compared to the original line. We found the Hole Pounder solid and Hole Finder pearl to be very closely related. The Finder hooked slightly less and slightly later, yet overall shape and motion were similar.

Test Results: The solid Finder had little difficulty finding the hole on our medium and heavier volumes. The roll was very even and predictable. Hitting and carry power were good, but our high-rev testers left fewer soft 10s than our tweener group. When we tried using the solid Finder after breakdown occurred, we had problems getting it to corner with enough authority. Smoothing the surface with 2000- to 4000-abralon helped, but we preferred the look given in this environment with the pearl Hole Finder.

When to Use: Use when faced with long and heavier volumes. We really liked what we saw when playing 13th board and out on such patterns. On lesser amounts of oil, speed to rev ratio players can naturally find more usability. The rest of us needed to stay in the oil to conserve hitting power.
